Mount Frissell
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut
squabbled over their common border for more than 150 years. When
the matter was finally resolved in 1806. When the dust settled
and the agreed-upon border was drawn, the summit of Mount Frissell
wound up jussssssssssssst that little bit into Massachusetts.

The quick tip for this month is: Don't go to Greeley, Colorado.
The plains town was renamed for the 19th Century New York
Tribune newspaper editor who popularized the phrase, "Go
West, young man." Apparently that advice was edited from
the entire sentence that read, "Go West, young man - but
don't take your dog with you."...
